I love a nice set of tips.

Here’s some poker tips that has helped me put some extra cash in my wallet.

Tip # 1 Here’s a great way to tell if you suck at poker (in case your not sure), Keep a spread sheet!!! Starting now log your wins and losses, dates etc… Even who you played with if you want to really keep track of what’s going on with your game. If you play a lot It’ll be pretty clear if you need to adjust your game or not, or maybe find a group of friends who are playing on the same level as you (beginner, advanced etc), cause getting as good as those guys who are consistently beating you is gonna get pricy! The school of hard knocks sucks, which brings be to my next tip.

Tip # 2 READ A Book!!! No not “To Kill a Mockingbird” a book on play by someone who seems to win a lot, your Daniel Negraneaus, your Phill Helmuths, Doyle Brunson, ANY BOOK!!! These guys aren’t winning consistently because they’re lucky. They’ve been there done that and you can’t put a price on experience. So take $20 bucks and go get a poker book! Daniel Negraneau says “The day you admit you don’t know everything about poker is the day you actually start learning something”. Click here to go to our book store

Tip #3 Practice!!! Go log on to Full Tilt and open an account, try to play tournaments with your make believe chips, why tournaments? People tend to play tighter if they know that in order to cash they have to finish in the top 2 or 3. On line for fake chips people are total idiots and it becomes Bingo not Poker in “fake cash games” if anything you’ll get sucked into playing like a donkey cause “Hey, that guy just pushed all in with 7-3 off suit and won, why can’t I?” Cause you unlike him are trying to get better.

If you’re generally playing a home game with 4 to eight people in your weekly game, then don’t get all crazy in a 27 man tournament. Simulate your weekly game, use what the Pro’s told you and what knowledge you have and develop your game.

Tip#4 Set limits for yourself! Hold’em is a sick perverted game in which you are constantly trying to take other people’s money, God I love this game! But if you walk into a friendly cash game with $100 dollars be prepared to walk out without it. At the end of the night you walk to your car, cry on the way home, wonder how much of that $100 your gonna tell the wife you lost, but hey nobody made you push all in with pocket 3’s, you lost, Accept it. Even if you think you did everything right, you still are gonna have those nights. Only risk what your willing to lose.

Tip# 5 No book can teach you this one…but it is soooo important. Play with PATIENCE!!! If you have it then your probably a better poker player than most of your friends so cheers.

So there I am, I’m card dead, I forgot what a face card looks like and I’ve had 4-10 no less than 6 times in the last hour, well I can do one of two things, Get up and walk out or, wait for some cards. I suggest getting up and leaving but that’s no fun! So be patient and wait for a decent hand. It also puts people on high alert that if your in a hand you probably finally got something so play that K-Q aggressively.

May the Nutz be with you!

You may have seen the massive rise in online gambling and betting, we seem to be bombarded at every turn with adverts on the TV for Bingo, Lotteries and Sports Betting.

The massive amount of gaming and gambling sites appearing now is quite amazing. It seem online gambling has really become big business now, with bookies, bingo sites and sports betting sites all offering a range of supposedly free sports bets and bonus offers

So how can we best take advantage of these freebies, without becoming a slave to gambling?

Well, probably the best method is to open multiple betting accounts. very simply open one account, make your qualifying bet, use the free bet and move on to the next site offering a free bet for new members. While opening new accounts may seem tedious, it makes no sense to carry on betting at a site when you could be qualifying for a free bet elsewhere. Also we want to be making the money, not the bookies!

There are now hundreds, if not thousands of online bookmakers worldwide and almost everyone of these gambling sites offers you a free bet for opening an account. They are clearly trying to draw people in with the freebies, in the hope they will get hooked on placing online bets with them!

Well, lets be clever and take the freebies, without getting drawn in to their clever plan! These freebies can range from £10 ($10) to over £300 ($300)in bets. Often they have special offers during big sporting events like Football cup finals, the olympics, Ascot, wimbledon etc.

One very clever way to qualify for the free bet without risking your money is to open an account at a site like Betfair, here you can place a lay bet on the opposite outcome to which you have placed your qualifying bet.

Thus if your qualifying bet at the bookmakers loses, you will win at Betfair and if your bet at the bookmakers wins, you will lose at Betfair. Either way you will not have lost any money but will have qualified for your free bet at the bookmakers. This technique is known as Matched Betting and it really does work. There are many sites that deal with this method and some individuals have over the years made thousands of pounds/dollars doing this. It is perfectly legal and above board, so don’t feel any guilt about giving it a go. After all bookmakers have been taking peoples money for years, so it is about time someone took it back off them, isn’t it?

So in conclusion there really is no need to carry on betting at the same bookmaker. Just open your account, get the free bet and move on to the next. To locate up to date lists of bookmakers offers, just do a quick google for the term free sports bets and you will see thousands of results.

Or better still why not check out some great betting and free sports bets here.

Back on April 29th, Zack Greinke (who suffers from Social Anxiety Disorder, as I do), was on the cover of Sports Illustrated. He was (6-0), and had an ERA well under 0.49! Since then, he and the betting baseball betting World have seen him go (4-6) and four ND’s (No Decisions).

So, the question that I am about to pose is this: Is Greinke still in the running for the Cy Young?

Personally, I believe that the answer is a resounding “NO”! He’s on a team going absolutely nowhere. He’s definitely not getting the run support, that he deserves! And, he’s in terms of baseball betting players, is little undersized. And as such, I think the season and his bevy of meds are taking their toll on him.

But, the proverbial glass is still “half-full”. He’s in the top-10 (for ALL MLB starting pitchers), in the following categories: Strikeout/Walk Ratio is at an incredibly respectable 5.4 to 1. He’s struck out 146, and has only allowed 27 total walks. He’s also in the Top-10 in Wins, ERA, and WHIP!

So, am I way off base…no pun intended. Is he still a contender? Do you even care? Chime-in! Leave a remark/comment. And for the record, it is my humble opinion that he’ll need to Win 10 of his final 12 to 13 starts, and keep his ERA under 3.00 to actually have a real shot at winning the Cy Young Award. Inaddition, I also believe that his recent form needs to drastically improve, and how, if he’s even going to be placed on the ballot.

In closing, I’m using the game between KC vs. Balt as my 19.95 (one day, service play) @ www.fbw4ever.com. And as per usual, IF IT WERE TO LOSE….THE NEXT TWO WEEKS ARE TOTALLY FREE OF CHARGE!!! TWO WEEKS OF MY SERVICES ABSOLUTELY “FREE”!!!!!!! Pay now through PayPal @ www.fbw4ever.com YOU HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE!

Chapter 1
Philosophies on Being a Consistent Winner

“…There are 3 totally different kinds of humans on the Earth, meaning that they perceive the One reality in three different ways, interpreted differently…

The 1st kind of human has a chromosome composition of 42+2. They comprise a unity consciousness that does not see anything outside themselves as being separate from themselves. To them, there is only One Energy – One Life, One Beingness that moves Everywhere. Anything happening Anywhere is Within them, as well. They are like cells in the body. They are all Connected to a Single Consciousness that Moves Through All of them. These are the aboriginals in Australia. There might be a few African tribes left like this.

Then, there is our level, comprising 44+2 chromosomes. We are a disharmonic level of consciousness that is used as a steppingstone from the 42+2 level to the next level, 46+2… These two additional chromosomes change Everything”.

Drunvalo Melchizedek

Melchizedek is an American born/Vietnam Vet who has created his own form of meditation, and essentially his own brand of thinking. After spending a few hours on one of his websites a few years ago; I decided that I would one day write a book (with the title as an ode) to him, and to the lead singer of a band named Tool (Maynard James Keenan). “46 & 2” suggests a heightened degree of enlightenment, and that’s what I’m offering, to you. Just imagine handicapping a game, weeks in advance, and “knowing” how to “interpret the line”; when it finally comes out. Wouldn’t you feel as though you were no longer at a disadvantage?

My OEPD (at least in the world of football gambling) has given me a level of enlightenment that I was only able to procure through a willingness to change my way of thinking, about a decade ago.

*Be Definitive – There’s an old saying in the world of sports betting (or maybe in betting in general), “A scared man can’t win”. So, my best advice to you is to keep that in mind at all times. One who is decisive, by nature, is surely an individual that will have an advantage over the ones who are the meek.

Additionally, it’s a solid belief system of mine (especially if you find yourself out in Las Vegas, in line to make a wager at the sports book), that wagering on football and/or sports in general has become quite literally “pari-mutuel”. And with that being said, you need to release the mindset that it’s you versus the house, or you versus your bookie, or even you versus your online sports book.
Truth is, every time “you” win; the chances are you’re being paid because of somebody else losing. So I believe it’s important to take on a more volatile persona, in regards to the guy in line in front or behind you. Or, simply the next guy to make a wager on the opposing team that you’re betting on, whether it be online or through a phone call to your local bookie.

*Money Management – As a very basic rule of thumb one should never bet more than 5% of his or her bankroll on any given play. One should stay far away from parlays and pleaser bets, in the world of exotic football wagers. The only exotic football wager that I condone wagering on, is the 4-team/ 13-point teaser.

Hypothetically speaking, you’ve decided to send some money to an online/offshore sports book, and you’re initial allocated bankroll is $4,000. Now what this simply means is: Initially, you should not wager more than $200 on any given bet. And, using this mythical $4,000 allocation I would be quite remiss if I didn’t tell you what the maximum sustainable loss you should incur, initially.

Answer: Your maximum sustainable loss (in a day/night), should be no more than 10% of your overall allocated bankroll.

Caveat: It’s important to choose wisely in the world of online gaming. There are too many Mom and Pop type joints out there, that have these ridiculous “rollover stipulations” attached to your first/initial deposit.

Example… I can remember in the early 2000’s the now defunct speedywager.com was enforcing a 10x rollover requirement; before one would be allowed to put in a withdrawal request. So basically, this meant that if you initially gave them a $1,000 deposit you had to either win and/or “put into play” $10,000 worth of bets; before you’d be allowed to make an extraction.

*Sports Books I Endorse –

www.wsex.com – This Company has basically been around since the inception of the internet, and they are fully licensed and governed in the country of Antigua. Assuming you’re willing to fund your account initially (with them) I would strongly advise using their www.Gold-Pay.com method.

www.sportsinteraction.com – Again, another company that’s been around since the late 90’s (I do believe 1997 to be exact), and they are governed by Canada and the Kahnawake Indian Nation. Additionally, they are even willing to post their exact mailing address (which is located at the bottom of their website) and here it is…

Sports Interaction
2006 Old Malone Road
Box 1539, Kahnawake, QC
J0L 1B0 Canada

www.vip.com – The first thing I must say about this company: Bar none, the best/fastest payouts in the industry. I once put in a request for over $2,500 (on a Saturday morning) and was eligible to pick up the monies later on that same afternoon. Actually proof of this I displayed on my partner’s website www.thetuttleway.com. Unfortunately though, this company no longer takes U.S. citizens on as new clients, unless, you had an account with them before 2005 that they are able to locate and reactivate. Then, you’re well on your way.

www.bodoglife.com – Saving the best for last! I personally have been a client of theirs since 2002, and I will remain a client of theirs until the day I die. They offer the absolute best online wagering format. Their customer service is absolutely stupendous… All English speaking. And payouts typically are sent by a cashier’s check to your door, via FedEx, and they usually clear inside of two or three business days.

If you opt for the bodoglife.com “way to play”, please use my partner’s account number and name as a reference: Joseph J. Tuttle/64746. Coincidentally, Joseph is the proud author of over 23 books currently selling on Amazon.com; most of which have the “view inside” option readily available. And, if you’d like to see his complete portfolio simply type in the Amazon search box Joseph J Tuttle (in all lowercase), and the first two pages are all of his works.

*Avoiding bad habits – The number one bad habit worth discussing would have to be “chasing”. “Chasing” is by far and away the biggest football handicappers downfall, of most gamblers. But, chasing can be easily rectified; it’s simply a matter of your discipline level. If in the past, you’re willing to admit that you have been in “chase mode”; then in my humble opinion you’re half-way to securing a better mindset, overall….”

In this posting, there will be many different stats for you to decipher/disseminate. All of the stats listed are 100% accurate and true, in these baseball games. It took me approximately 96 minutes to handicap the (6) games that I’m going to write about.

All of these games are for: 07/27/09 (no order of preference, ok, maybe my own…lol)

TOR @ SEA…Starts @10:10EST

Felix Hernandez might be the best kept secret in MLB, with guys like Danny Haren, Tim Lincecum, and Roy Halladay getting all of the proverbial ink.

Did you know that…??

He is undefeated (6-0), over his last 10. He’s had 10 consecutive “quality starts”, and his team has gone (9-1) over his last 10 trips to the mound! And for the uninitiated, a quote unquote quality start, is when a pitcher goes for six or more innings and gives up three runs or less. Additionally, Felix Hernandez has a gaudy (but not as gaudy as Haren or Lincecum) 3.6 to 1 strikeout to walk ratio!
(137/38)

His counterpart, Ricky Romero (for Toronto), is coming off of two consecutive poor outings. But, he was the pitcher of the month in the American League (in my humble opinion) for the month of June. Young Mr. Romero is in a state of progression (as it pertains to) baseball betting and because Felix Hernandez has been able to defy my progression regression rationale (over his last five starts I might add), there’s absolutely no reason to believe that he will not regress, tomorrow night.

But, I’m going to allow you to decide… whether or not you think I am correct or not???

DET @ TEX….Starts @ 8:05EST

Galarraga (the pitcher for Detroit), is coming off of a no decision versus the above mentioned Felix Fernandez. That game, was a to one final in which I twitted (www.twitter.com/tuttleshak) that I liked Seattle and the under! But, over the year and a half that I’ve scouted Galarraga; I’ve come one resounding conclusion, he, is a headcase! Additionally, he’s not a very good road pitcher.

The game comes up as a 7.67 on 10 number. But, I do see the reasoning behind the oddsmakers inflating this line…. but I’m going to allow you to decide! Do you see the theme going on here? I know for sure, whether or not this game is going to stay under 10 or go over 10, if you would also like to “know”, simply pay 19.95 (the one-day service plan) @ www.fbw4ever.com. And if the play were to lose, you’ll receive a full week of service free of charge!!!

PITT @ SF….Starts @ 10:15EST

Now as all my followers know, over the last year and a half, I’ve quite literally grown to love the young Tim Lincecum. I have even referred to it as a “Bro-mance”. The kid is truly a freak, and the money that is made me over the last year and a half, has got to be approaching 25 or $30,000! I keep incredibly close tabs on young Mr. Tim, and that’s not going to change anytime in the future.

His team is coming off of back-to-back losses (of game studies started, this season) for the first time in over a full calendar year! So, needless to say, I think the Giants tomorrow like stealing money! But, who wants to lay -230? I know I don’t! So, it forces you to play the total. And the total on this particular matchup, comes up as a 6.82, and the number is posted currently at (7). TIGHT LINE, NO BET! Or, you could take a chance on the over.

OAK @ BOST….Starts @ 7:10EST

again, just like the game mentioned above, one is forced to play the total in said game, because, Josh Beckett is currently at -320. The current posted total is at 8/2, but the game comes up as a 7.20. Therein lies some very good value, and as such, I get the under a very high recommendation.

Actually, Boston-1.5 @ -140, could be a good investment. The Oakland Athletics have a below-average 19-31 road record, they’re going nowhere, and to really put things in perspective, over the last seven games they’ve scored 49 runs and have a record of (3-4)! Now, I’m going to mention three teams that score comparable amounts of the last seven games (and two of which, also have an overall losing record for the season, like Oakland). The Phillies (6-1), the Indians (6-1), and the Arizona Diamondbacks (4-3), all have scored roughly 50-runs, over their last 7 games.

But, I’m going to allow you to decide….

Finally, we come to my strongest play of the night (that I’m willing to give away for free), but by no means is my strongest play the night overall! Remember the beginning, I said I handicap six total games?

COLO @ METS…..Starts @ 7:10EST

This a very unusual game, as pursuant to my number system (for predicting Maj. league baseball totals), this game came up a 10.39. Yet for some reason, the posted total is only 8.5!!! This clearly becomes a case in point of what I like to refer to as “line Interpretation”. Why would the oddsmakers inflate this line almost 2 full runs? Especially, when will the two pitchers had the builders from 98 miles an hour (U Jimenez, of Colorado). Furthermore, the Mets are about to embark on a 10 day-10 game homestand. And that they can somehow manage to (8-2), I believe they’ll be right back in the thick of the wild card race! So, should you trust in my number system and play the under? Or play the Mets because of what I just wrote???

I’m going to allow you to decide…lol!

And for the record, my strongest play of the night (and because I’m still very generous mood) I will give free of charge, to everyone/anyone that goes to fbw4ever.com and paid the 19.95 for the one-day service plan. So, you’ll actually be getting two games for the price of one, and my strongest play of the day!

The game in question, is between Cleveland at Anaheim. And that games started 10:05 Eastern standard Time… don’t get shut out!!!!!

Signed,
Joseph J Tuttle
